Useful functional products for daily life.

We love print, pattern & cloth.  Drawn Surface uses a mixture of traditional printing and dyeing technics to create our products.  Working out of a small studio we design and produce illustrations to be translated by hand printing onto a variety of natural fibre cloth and paper products. 

At Drawn Surface we celebrate the hand drawn line with all its glorious wonky natural wobbles, blips and human imperfections - in a world where computer generated perfection presides, we believe in offereing like minded people the option to buy products or gifts that aren't mass manufactured in factories far far away.

The illustrations often are inspired from natural organic patterns and shapes we see around us in the landscape, plants and animals and colours from the change of seasons. 

We use Yorkshire & Lancashire woven natural fibre cloth. We hand mix all our waterbased inks & dyes.

Keen to champion the amazing skills of the British Traditional Industries, Drawn Surface strives to use sustainable resources and like minded suppliers for all our cloth and paper products. 

The design & manufacture of our products is carried out in the United Kingdom.

Drawn Surface designs have been featured in the Sunday Times Style Magazine, as well as being used on several productions for the UK Film & Television industry.
